LCA was a mistake
The MESS around LCA is undeniable - city planning in this TERRIBLE location is horrendous. We missed the beginning of the show, as it took us over an hour to go from dinner in Corktown to parking at LCA, despite paying $90 for tickets and $40+ for parking passes.
It's a mess to get inside due to insufficient workers (PAY THEM MORE!!!) with most stands closed. LCA fails to accommodate basic standards like allowing clear purses for women, only tiny clutches that nothing fits into. Those greedy Illitches who run the place can't even staff it properly, despite being paid for by our tax dollars.
Seating at LCA is uncomfortably TINY, resembling airplane seating just to fit more people in and increase profits. Most attendees weren't wearing masks, despite the tight seating arrangements.
I rated this 2 stars mainly because the Philadelphia 76ers sounded fantastic, and the orchestra was beautiful. However, it felt more like "An Evening with Philadelphia 76ers...and Friends" as he would sing a song, then step off stage for someone else to perform. We would have preferred if he sang more of his own songs.
In the end, seeing him live was a one-time experience, but the overall disappointment of the event and the LCA's shortcomings make it unlikely for a return visit.
